Tailstock Riser Block

The Tailstock Riser Block is an add-on to the Large Outboard Attachment. By installing it onto the Outboard Attachment, it allows the tailstock to be used on the outboard side of the lathe (as shown).

By adding the Riser Block, the following will be achieved:

• increased safety
• (important when turning up to 48")
• a wider variety of cuts
• heavier cuts

Aligment of the riser block to the spindle is achieved using precision dowels and shims (supplied).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Alignment Kit (Part No. 3319) is REQUIRED if your Serial Number is #1513 or less.

Alignment Kit (PN. 3319)

Older machines require this Alignment Kit to install the Riser Block correctly. This kit is purchased by the customer, however, the complete kit can be returned to the supplier for a full refund.

If you would prefer to keep all or part of this kit, just return the pieces you don't want (if any) and only these items will be refunded.

Notes:

1. You are responsible for the shipping costs in returning the Alignment Kit.
2. Please call the supplier prior to returning the Kit.
3. If you would like to keep any of the Alignment Kit, call the supplier for details.
